We never underestimate the importance of parental commitment to a child’s school education.

If your child is joining the school in Nursery, the Nursery Staff will arrange a home visit to meet with you and your child.

At the start of the new academic year each class holds a curriculum evening where the class teacher introduces a broad view of the coming year.

There will be regular opportunities for formal meetings with your child's class teacher. Beyond that you are always encouraged to make an appointment at any other time to discuss specific issues with the school.

A full school report is issued at the end of each academic year. Parental support is actively encouraged and highly valued.

We have a Home School Agreement which formalises our commitment to your child's education.

The Blue School uses Arbor Education as a MIS to manage all our pupils’ personal and academic information.

Parents can view information regarding their child's attendance, book parents meetings, update contact details, sign up for free clubs and trips and to view your child's annual reports

If any of your personal information changes during your child’s time at The Blue School it is your responsibility to log into Arbor and make the necessary changes.

In an attempt to remove all cash and cheques from school we are asking all parents to only use our e-payment method to pay for dinner money, trips, music lessons etc. This can be done online using a very secure website called ParentPay or in cash at local stores where you see the PayPoint logo.

ParentPay holds an electronic record of your payments to view at a later date. Once you have activated your account you can make online payments straight away.

Those parents wishing to pay cash should contact the school office to request the option of paying via PayPoint.

Please do not hesitate to contact the school office if you need assistance. Your support in using ParentPay will help the school enormously, thank you.
