We are very proud of our achievements to date but we appreciate that in order to maintain or better these we need to constantly review our practices and challenge ourselves.

This is how we approach everything we do at The Blue School. From monitoring teaching to monitoring the progress made by our pupils we are constantly striving to improve and set ourselves new targets.

Pupil progress is reviewed on a termly basis. This allows for regular planning to ensure progress is on track. The school and staff are monitored by external consultants. Consequently attainment in all core subjects is consistently very high and significantly above the national average.

On Sunday 17 November 2013 The Sunday Times published a list of the top state primary schools in the country. The Blue School was ranked as the 7th highest attaining school. We are extremely proud of this ranking.
